The warm up

A-ha!

Blackpool. The roots. The beginning. T'pool. Dead good.

A tourist town made up of being by the sea-side, sticks of rock and 'kiss-me-quick' hats. Of the Golden Mile, stag dos, fish & chips and piers. And the Tower. Obviously.

Not to be dismissed, but definately different from where I am off to, yet has made me who I am. Oi - its double dead good, like. Know what I mean? hehehe.

Alors, the journey begins...some words of wisdom:

All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware.
Martin Buber (German Jewish biblical Translator, Philosopher and Interpreter. Master of German prose style. 1878-1965)

"
The traveller was active; he went strenuously in search of people, of adventure, of experience. The tourist is passive; he expects interesting things to happen to him. He goes "sight-seeing."
Daniel J. Boorstin quotes (American social historian and educator, 1914)

"
The soul of a journey is liberty, perfect liberty, to think, feel, do just as one pleases"
William Hazlitt quotes (British Writer, best known for his humanistic essays. 1778-1830)

Lets get cracking....
